CFDA即美国时装设计师协会，这个奖项也被比作为"时尚界的奥斯卡大奖"，由此推之：非一般的角色可以进入的，更别提那些入围和获奖的设计师了。

Shoes lifts often referred to as heel lifts. Shoe lifts originated as "elevator shoes". The early manufacturers of elevator shoes found it difficult to manufacture as complete a range of styles as those available in contemperary shoes. Customers asked for for something a little less obtrusive like an insole to place in normal shoes to make them look taller.
